The Who Super Bowl 44 (2010) Halftime Show Performance Video

The English rock band The Who will be the Super Bowl 44 (2010) Halftime Show performers.  The performance of The Who at the Super Bowl on February 7, 2010 by its original members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend was announced on Sports Illustrated and confirmed on The NFL Today.

The Who is known for their energetic live performances and they have sold out about 100 million records and charted 27 top 40 singles in the U.K. and U.S. with 17 top 10 albums.  In the U.S.  they had 18 Gold, 12 Platinum and 5 Multi-Platinum album awards.  Among their top albums are Tommy, Live at Leeds, Who’s Next and The Kids Are Alright.

This Sunday, “The Godfathers of Punk” The Who will be performing live at the halftime show of Super Bowl 44 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.  They will play a medley of their hits, including Baba O’Riley, Fooled Again, Pinball Wizard, Who Are You, and Won’t Get Fooled Again.

The Who joins previous Super Bowl halftime performers like Michael Jackson, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake and the infamous wardrobe malfunction.
