I think that yes while Michael is a favorite, worldwide, his music is derived from another era and therefore, it could be argued that “artist of the years” award maynot be appropriate. At the same time MJ is an international multi-generational favorite and i’m sure his record sales reflected that. Record sales makes money for the industry and is taken into consideration was it comes to recognition , i.e. awards. What’s funny is that MJ was good enough to win when competing against r&b and soul artist, but in the broader catogory, a more inclusive or diverse representation, he’s not quite good enough. My summation to all of this is that the award committee’s intention was to look out for Taylor Swift and to spite artists like Kanye West that, yes, we gave this little girl the award to one of “your not our” greatest artist to ever lived — NOW TAKE THAT. When you speak out against organizations, epecially those considered bias, they only do it again and in an even more egregious manner. FORGET THEM!!!

Maybe Next Year You Should Vote! Most Of these People Are Right, Michael Jackson Won Because He’s DEAD! He’s Worth More Dead Than Alive, And No Lessley, This Award Show Is Not Biased. It Depends On The Votes Of The American People. So Whatever! I Like Michael Jackson And All, But I Think Taylor Deserved It!
